A Rapid Communication is not a preliminary note, but it is, though brief, a complete and final publication. The materials described in Rapid Communications should not be included in a later paper. The Journal also publishes short reviews (JB Review) and papers solicited by the Editorial Board.

GENES & GENOMICS《基因与基因组学》（月刊）. Genes & Genomics is the official journal of the Korean Genetics Society (http://kgenetics.or.kr/) since 1978. Although it is an official publication of the Genetics Society of Korea, membership of the Society is not required for contributors. It is a peer-reviewed online only international journal (E-ISSN 2092-9293) publishing 12 issues per year.
