Plant Science will publish in the minimum of time, research manuscripts as well as commissioned reviews, method papers (technical papers) and commentaries recommended by its referees in all areas of experimental plant biology with emphasis in the broad areas of genomics, proteomics, biochemistry (including enzymology), physiology, cell biology, development, genetics, functional plant breeding, systems biology and the interaction of plants with the environment. Although manuscripts containing large data are welcomed, they must contain functional validation.

Plant Molecular Biology Reporter《植物分子生物学导报》（季刊）. The journal Plant Molecular Biology Reporter publishes new developments in plant molecular biology, molecular physiology, plant genetics and genomics, plant comparative transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics. Plant Methods《植物方法》（一年1卷）. Plant Methods is an open access, peer-reviewed journal for the plant research community that encompasses all aspects of technological innovation in the plant sciences. The goal of this journal is to stimulate the development and adoption of new and improved techniques and research tools and, where appropriate, to promote consistency of methodologies for better integration of data from different laboratories.

The Plant Journal《植物杂志》（半月刊）. The aim of TPJ is to publish exciting, high quality science that addresses fundamental questions in plant biology. Typically, the research will provide insight into an as yet unknown mechanism or poorly understood process, will constitute a highly significant contribution to our understanding of plants, and be of general interest to the plant science community. All areas of plant biology are welcome and the experimental approaches used can be wide-ranging and interdisciplinary. Many fully-sequenced genomes and related technologies are now available. TPJ welcomes functional genomics manuscripts when a scientific question, rather than the technology used, has driven the research.

Plant Growth Regulation《植物生长调控》（一年9期）. The Plant Genome《植物基因组》（季刊）. The Plant Genome (TPG) publishes original research investigating all aspects of plant genomics including genome biology, functional genomics, genomic analyses of agronomically important traits, genomic resources, genomics-assisted breeding, and genome engineering. Technical breakthroughs reporting improvements in the efficiency and speed of acquiring and interpreting plant genomics data are welcome. The editorial board gives preference to frontier genomic advances and novel reports that use innovative genomic applications that advance our understanding of plant biology that may have applications to crop improvement. The journal also publishes invited review articles and perspectives that offer insight and commentary on recent advances in genomics and their potential for agronomic improvement.
